All Alpine Trails projects have appropriate erosion controls designed and built in.  Whether that means simple rolling dips and offsloping tread, or more intensive controls such as bridges and culverts, all our work will withstand local weather conditions.

When maintenance or reconstruction projects are undertaken, it is usually to combat erosion problems.  In those cases, we will work to assure the new trail condition withstands many years of use with little ongoing maintenance.

Proper construction techniques applied to climbing turns and switchbacks insures longevity of turns which otherwise are highly erodible.
