MAINTENANCE
 
Alpine Trails provides all types of maintenance on all types of trails.  Our primary services include regular deadfall removal, tread repair and reconstruction, installation of appropriate erosion controls (from drains and dips to culverts and bridges), and removal of encroaching vegetation. Sustainability 
 A 5% Off-Sloping Tread • Long-term sustainability is the key to low maintenance costs.  • A user-based focus ensures the trail functions as proposed. • Effective maintenance leaves less impact on the land. • Minor retrofits can be installed to assure low-maintenance longevity. • Where necessary, major reconstruction can repair problems associated with poorly designed or constructed trails. Erosion Control 
Example of a Backcountry Bridge •  All trails designed or built by Alpine Trails include adequate erosion controls. •  All are site specific, but generally include off-sloping tread, rolling dips, and other measures as necessary. • When maintaining or repairing existing trails, we work to increase erosion controls, up to and including dips,  culverts, drains, and bridges.  Seasonal Clearing
